Bibliography of Donald William Buchanan (1908-1966)

[To download a PDF of this page, click here.]

The basis for the Site's Bibliography is Gloria Lesser's published Bibliography of the Writings of Donald William Buchanan (1908 – 1966) in The Journal of Canadian Art History, Vol. V, No. 2, 1981 with Gloria Lesser's and The Journal of Canadian Art History's kind written permission.

Gloria Lesser is an interior designer and Canadian art historian specializing in the decorative arts. Her annotated article on the writings of Donald William Buchanan in The Journal of Canadian Art History was originally prepared for a methodology course in the historiography of Canadian art under Professor Laurier Lacroix to fulfill partial requirements for a Master's Degree in Canadian Art History at Concordia University. With Lesser's and JCAH's permission, we have deleted Lesser's annotations to her citations for our audience to consider this Site's original Overview on Buchanan's Writings and to read Lesser's Bibliography in its original format. Additions are marked with an * asterik in front of each. Slightly revised citations are marked with ** in front of each.
